The Greater Your Ambition, The Lighter Your Expenses
How do you keep expensive tuition fees from weighing you down and dampening your enthusiasm? Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) is here to provide you with a solution. With its December Tuition Fees Rebate which will cut the cost of study by up to 75%, students can now rest easy, knowing that their pursuit of success will eventually materialize.
KLIUC has always strived to provide quality and affordable tertiary education. The university firmly believes that education is for all. To continue with its endeavours to assist deserving students, KLIUC has decided to introduce its latest financial assistance plan for the period 1st December through 31st January 2010.
During these two months, students who sign up for a diploma programme are eligible for the first semester tuition fees rebate of 75%, while a 50% rebate of the first semester tuition fees will be given to those who register to pursue a foundation programme or a bachelor’s degree.
Owing to the fact that the actual examinations results will only be made available to students sometime in March next year, students can apply for the March 2010 intake using their forecasted results. Students are required to inform the university once their actual results have been released. In the event that a student’s actual results do not meet the minimum requirement, the university will refund them the total fees made during registration.
After the first semester, KLIUC has a “Semester Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme” next in line to ease its deserving students’ burdens. This scheme is a semester-based financial aid that consistently grants its high achieving students with a semester tuition fees waiver of up to 60%.
The aforementioned scheme is meritocratic and aimed at encouraging its students to excel in their academic pursuits. Regardless of their nationality or race, students with a CGPA of 3.751 and above will be given a 60% discount on the semester tuition fees, while those who achieve CGPA 3.5 and above will get a 30% discount. This aid will be granted automatically to deserving students based on their performance for each semester. That means the greater the students’ ambition, the lower their expenses.
In addition, those who join KLIUC’s programmes with at least 8As in SPM, 5As in UEC, or a CGPA of 3.5 and above in STPM or A-Level, are entitled to the first semester tuition fees rebate of 60%, while those who score at least 5As in SPM, 2As in UEC, or CGPA 3.0 in STPM or A-Level will enjoy a rebate of 30%.
KLIUC is the country’s premier infrastructure university that offers programmes in the fields of Engineering, Information Technology, Architecture, Applied Science, Communication, Business and Accounting at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
On top of that, KLIUC’s 100-acre green campus is home to students from over 40 countries; it is indisputably a “Global Village” on its own. In addition to its multicultural environment that helps to widen students’ horizons, KLIUC has established strong ties with 22 reputable foreign universities from six countries to offer its students an Advanced Standing option. These countries include the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Ireland, and China.
Besides gaining recognition from these overseas universities, KLIUC has all its programmes approved by the Ministry of Higher Education. Additionally, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has granted full accreditation to its 25 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Another 15 new programmes have provisional accreditation. With such recognition and accreditation from the authorities, students are eligible for loan assistance from many agencies such as PTPTN, MARA and various local financial institutions.
