APPLICATION: Procedures

HOW TO APPLY TO STUDY AT KLIUC ?

Local Applicants

  • Intake month will be in March, June and November.

  • Applicants can obtain FREE Application Forms online at www.kliuc.edu.my.

  • Applicants are required to submit their completed forms and processing fee together with the following documents:
    1. One (1) photocopy of Identification Card (I/C).
    2. One (1) photocopy of highest academic qualification (if applicable) e.g.Certificate, Matriculation, Diploma.
    3. One (1) photocopy of SPM / STPM / O Level OR Equivalent academic qualification.
    4. One (1) photocopy of secondary school leaving certificate.
  • Successful applicants will be notified not later than 2 weeks before the Intake Date.

  • Reply Card must be returned to KLIUC for confirmation of acceptance and registration.

    • International Applicants

  • Intake month will be in March, June and November.

  • Applicants can obtain FREE Application Forms online at www.kliuc.edu.my.

  • Applicants are required to send the completed application to KLIUC at least two (2) months prior to the commencement date     of each intake.

  • Application should be sent to the International Students Office    together with the following documents:
    1. Three (3) photocopies of passport (the whole booklet including all blank pages) in A4 size paper.
    2. Two (2) photocopies of your National Identification Card.
    3. Six (6) passport-sized photographs.
    4. Two (2) certified true copies of all academic qualifications (in English translation).
    5. Two (2) certified true copies of English Language Proficiency such as IELTS or TOEFL (exemptions for KLIUC Intensive English Programme - IEP). Otherwise, students will be required to enroll into the KLIUC Intensive English Programme (IEP).
    6. Processing fee for application of USD 95 / RM 350 to be made in the form of bankers cheque, payable to IKRAM EDUCATION SDN BHD. (This fee is not refundable under any circumstances). Alternatively, the payment can also be made via telegraphic transfer as follows:

  • Applicants are reminded that only after KLIUC has received the processing fee and the necessary documentations, the Student     Pass application will be processed.

  • If the application is successful, KLIUC will send a Letter of Offer, fee schedule and other related documents to applicants.     Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in writing.

  • After the issuance of the Letter of Offer, KLIUC will on the applicants behalf, submit an application for student visa to the     Immigration Office in Malaysia. This process may take approximately 6 - 8 weeks.

  • Upon approval, a Student Visa Approval Letter (SVAL) will be issued by the Immigration Office which KLIUC will send to     applicants. Applicants will have to bring along the SVAL to enter Malaysia as a student for a predetermined duration.

  • Applicants who come from countries that require a Visa to enter Malaysia, must get a Single Entry Visa from the Malaysian     High Commission, Consulate, Embassy or the nearest representative of the Malaysian government before coming to Malaysia.

  • Applicants from the Peoples Republic of China must get an Entry Visa from the Malaysian High Commission, Consulate,     Embassy or the nearest representative of the Malaysian government before they can enter Malaysia.
